Where it started
I first got involved in technology at 10, completing a Charles Sturt University course in Enterprise Networking. By the time I was 13, I had completed four courses from Charles Sturt University and HarvardX, as well as a Professional Certificate in Data Science from IBM.
Why I build lifesaving tech
I grew up on the Australian coast, and I saw too many drowning incidents along the way. Those moments stuck with me. They’re a big part of why I wanted a career where I could help protect other people.
Today I do that at ResQVision, working on AI and computer vision for water safety. That includes SAIL, which uses coastal cameras to spot people swept off rock shelves and alert lifesavers.
More about SAILWhat it means to me
It is a nice milestone, but it means even more having worked with such a great team on such a meaningful goal. To save lives.
